Bicycles - Plenty of flat and undulating country to cycle through. There's also a couple of challenging hills... Historic Walk - Pick up a map and details from the GVIC. An interesting way to spend an hour or two - and the coffe breaks can be very enjoyable.
Canoeing - Kayaks for hire, courses aplenty on the Barrington and transport available. Barrington River Canoe Hire (6558 4316). Joy Flights - The Gloucester Aero Club (Jacks Road) have wings for hire. Check out the beautiful countryside from a few thousand feet (6558 1274).
Ecotours - Check out "Goldies Place" for an airconditioned four-wheel drive tour of the Barrington Tops National Park (6558 4330). Lawn Bowls - The Gloucester Bowling Club welcomes visitors (6558 1708).
Exploring - Take the car and check out the historical gold mining town of Copeland, the Barrington Tops, Copeland and Gloucester Tops National Parks. Lookouts - The Mograni - on the road to Taree east of Gloucester and the Kia-Ora - on Bowman Farm Road to the east of Barrington are both well worth a visit.
Feeding the Animals - There are always friendly animals to hand feed, especially, the Beltie Calves they love a hand full of hay Picnics - Lyn and John can pack you a gourmet lunch and tell you the best spots.
Fishing - Lots of places, from just outside the door on the Barrington, or try a fly upstream. Skydiving - For the daredevils, try it at the Gloucester Aero Club (6558 1274).

Golf - One of the most beautiful courses in the area at the Gloucester Golf Club (6558 1602).

TRAIL BIKE RIDING -Ask about the trails when you arrive

Swimming - The heated pool at the Recreation Centre (6558 1559), or the Barrington River at the Barrington Reserve, just on the downstream side of that Allen-Truss wooden bridge outside Barrington.
Tennis - Courts for hire, bookings can be made at the Gloucester Visitor Information Centre (6558 1408).
Gymnasium - Check out the Rural Fitness Gymnasium at the Gloucester Recreation Centre (6558 1559). Walks - Plenty of strolls around, but try the Bucketts Walk, a Lions Club project. This walk (one and a half hours round-trip) takes you to the top of the Gloucester Bucketts.
